Rubjerg Knude lighthouse

The lighthouse Rubjerg Knude is located on the North Sea coast in Rubjerg in the Jutland municipality of Hjørring in northern Denmark.

At the time of his building in 1899 the Rubjerg Knude Fyr was 200 meters away of the shore. But in the course of time the waves brought down more and more of the cliff coast. Now the 23 meters tall tower is only a few steps away of the shore.
